My biggest life twist happened in 2012 when I traveled to a training course in Copenhagen and got familiar with so-called non-formal education in Europe — had a cultural shock about interactive educational methods I'd never experienced before!

 

As a result, I came back home, left my job as a nuclear engineer, and started a new path — working in a social action context, and traveling a lot around the world for various meetings, seminars, and educational courses. This experience naturally increased my interest in psychology and led me to study:

• Basics of the theory of psychological types introduced by C.G. Jung, MBTI typology — theory of information metabolism, also known as 16 personality types, 2016-2017, Russia

• Development of Emotional Intelligence and assertive skills, 2018, Hungary

• Stanislavski’s system about actor’s emotional intelligence 2019-2020, Russia

• and afterwards, the Gestalt approach in therapy 2019-2023, Russia, EAGT standards.

Why Gestalt therapy?

I arrived to Gestalt approach because its depth and vision of life correlate with my vision of the world. To me, it is a holistic, multidimensional perspective that combines many elements, and its field theory even resonates with my past studies of physics. I believe in this method due to its interconnectedness, owning back the client's power over their life and working within a "here and now" context.
